FROM HEART TO HEART
The psychology of Caodaists is mental characteristics or attitude of God’s disciples, who dress in white. Their psychology affects their behaviour, cognition, and emotion. Understanding their psychology helps to perceive Caodai religion as an active entity with its historical ups and downs.
The two essays included in this booklet are certainly not a professional survey of the psychology of Caodaists. This is just a modest contribution to gradually shaping a series of interdisciplinary essays which might be expediently used as references, especially when the Caodai Missionary Holy Assembly’s Academy has already been established in Đà Nẵng city and it is attempting to introduce some specific subjects such as the Caodai philosophy, English for Caodai studies, etc. while the Caodai literature on these academic realms still seems to be too meagre.
I am so grateful to my highly respectable senior teaching colleague Tú Đoàn for his proofreading my English manuscript and contributing lots of worthwhile adjustments.
And here again, but never enough, I sincerely express my deep appreciation and gratitude to all of my noble and generous coreligionists, who have strongly, unceasingly, and wholeheartedly supported the Programme of Joining Hands for Free Caodai Publications, the journey I have been through since mid-2008.
I beg Master’s great favour to be bestowed upon my benefactors, their ancestors and relatives as well.
Namo Caodai the Immortal Mahabodhisattva Mahasattva.
